“More functions, locally with high data rates and deeper analyses”
Embedded AI is set to change automation: Until now, AI has always required large computing capacities. Thanks to the further development of semiconductors, these capacities are now available directly on site in the sensor. Decentralized local AI is becoming more powerful.
In the future, voice commands will control robots in industry and medicine. Keyword spotting (KWS) can be used to capture and evaluate speech and ultimately speed up processes, make them more efficient and even save lives.
In an interview with Elektronik Praxis, Viacheslav Gromov, founder and CEO of AI provider AITAD, explains the advantages of voice control for robots in industry and medicine and why embedded artificial intelligence is a far-reaching revolution.
